Based in Hull, UK, I’m self-employed, a web designer of sorts and more recently a search engine marketing fanatic. I’m an occasional DJ and music maker too.
I used to be a primary school teacher, have run small web design agency Definition since 2003 and recently cranked up Woof, a new search engine marketing agency. Read about the transition here.
Primarily though, I run my own internal niche marketing projects, of which you can read the very, erm, thorough version of what this means here. Very excited about it too.
The rest of what I do is basically a public front for these secretive niche marketing activities.

Personal projects
Main personal blog is fuzzyness, though I hardly post there, due to the ease of posting to Twitter and elsewhere. I tend to save the main blog for the sort of long state-of-the-nation posts that most people never make it to the end of.
There’s more frequent and off-the-cuff micro-blogging action at my Tumblr site. Bit of an experiment. I used to blog like this way back in 2000—the good old days of blogging where you posted anything and everything you fancied. Be nice to do that again.
I tweet often, in 140 characters or fewer, on that Twitter thing.
I sometimes post photos on Flickr too, though best not to get too excited about that.
I post up my own DJ sets and (someday soon) own electronic productions at Soundcloud.
I just can’t get into Facebook, ‘fraid.
